“It is easy to become depressed, lonely, and down on one’s self in prison. When a note of encouragement comes I am reminded of God’s love for me.”
As a writer for Letters of Hope Ministries, I consider it an honor to be able to reach out to women incarcerated at NCCW and deliver a message of hope. Many times that message is a simple note that lets that lady know they are not forgotten and that they are loved by Jesus.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
