Janelle was a volunteer in the jail and she shares how she became involved in Letters of Hope Ministries in 2018.
"I was doing Sunday church in the jail and a lady wrote me and wanted a mentor. I knew then I could be in a letter ministry to women in prison."
We invite every woman an invitation to have a letter writer when entering the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women at York, NE. What began in Douglas County, NE has grown to reaching all the women in prison entering at NCCW! In 2022 we began writing women at ICCW (Iowa Correctional Center for Women in Mitchellville, Iowa).
